About Ms. Joseph!

I graduated from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA., where I double-majored in Mathematics and Spanish Literature. While I was there I participated in many campus activities: I co-captained the women's Ultimate Frisbee team which I played on for four years; was selected to have a poem reviewed by a professor in Cross Currents, Puget Sound's literary magazine; acted in Peter Pan; and played intramural volleyball.

During my junior year, I studied at the Catholic University of Valparaiso, Chile and was lucky enough to travel to Argentina for a week. While I was in Buenos Aires, I snapped this photo which earned me 3rd place in Puget Sound's annual study abroad photo contest:

Since graduating from Puget Sound, I have traveled in Ecuador and Peru, and obtained a Master's of Arts in Teaching from Simmons College where I studied Secondary Education. During this program, I student-taught at Dover Sherborn Regional High School, coached the girl's Ultimate Frisbee team at Needham High School, and tutored students independently.

In addition to Spanish and Math, I also love the following: Ultimate Frisbee, dogs, South America, crocheting, logic puzzles, cooking, and reading.

I look forward to getting to know more about you this school year!
